JUNE 2023
BEING A "CLIMATE DATE" 
On 16.06 the second Klima Dialog from Austrian Federal Ministry of Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology took part. I was asked to be one of the climate dates in the networking part where we had many exciting exchanges with other participants. It was such an inspiring event!

JUNE 2023
I am thrilled to have been invited to contribute with an artistic intervention to SOHO's tool talks series on 12.06.2023 at 19.00. The talk "Climate change – What impact does it have on our democracy?" was moderated by stadt:wurzel. Climate scientist Helga Kromp-Kolb shared her valuable research on climate protection. I read from my “Duck Encounters” booklet, and talked about ways to adopt a more-than-human perspective, emphasising its significance in climate crisis. 
MAY 2023 
"DODO IN THE ROOM" ON DAZED
Oscar Salguero's Interspecies Library was featured in an interview with him on Dazed. He also talked about my project "Dodo in the Room" and small publication "The Unextinct Dodo Project" which is in his collection of speculative more-than-human books.

CARE:AOKE BY DTAFA AT MQ ON 08.05.2023
Gravel On, Sing Along!
In an evening event DTAFA showed some easy methods on how to best prepare your body and mind to become a breeding ground for the Little Ringed Plover. We enjoyed some Bird Island Ice Tea, trained our bodies in radical stillness, and sang along to some special bird songs together!

This event was part of our exhibition "How to become an island? at the Schauraum Angewandte - quartier 21 at MQ.

NEIGHBOURHOOD WALK WITH "DIE PRESSE"
I showed Die Presse team around the 5. district of Vienna. We talked about my favourite cafes, second-hand shops, restaurants and ongoing quilting workshop series at SOHO STUDIOS "Along the Yorgan".

APRIL 2023 
DTAFA EXHIBITION AT MQ SCHAURAUM
We, as DTAFA, showed a new installation at the Schauraum Angewandte - quartier 21 at MQ between 13.04.-16.05.2023. The work was based on our previous experiments with "How to become an island?" for the European Capital of Culture - Novi Sad 22.
Can you spot the nest of the Little Ringed Plover in the image on the left? It is a stereogram! :)

"ALONG THE YORGAN" WORKSHOP SERIES
As part of my kültüř gemma! fellowship, I am organising a workshop series at SOHO STUDIOS where together with participants we will think about futures and create new quilt/yorgan motifs that reflect those futures. The first workshop is on 25.03.2023 from 14.00 to 17.00.

kültüř gemma! FELLOWSHIP
I am incredibly happy and honoured to have been selected as the kültüř gemma! fellow. In this framework, I will be working with the community and outreach team of SOHO STUDIOS for six months and will be developing a new participatory project.

"GRAIN & NOISE" ART-SCIENCE BOOK
I am thrilled to announce that Biofaction's new art-science book "Grain & Noise: Artists in Synthetic Biology Labs " will be released early 2023. It was such an exciting project, where I had the chance be involved with multiple roles from being part of the editorial team to being co-responsible for the graphic concept and realisation. (with amazing Isabel Prade) Can't wait to hold the book in my hands!

NOVEMBER 2022 
TALK AT ENCOUNTERING NON-HUMANS CONFERENCE
I presented my project "Duck Encounters" at "the Encountering Non-Humans: On Methodologies for the Post Anthropocene Conference" on 26.11 in Brno, Czech Republic. The conference is supported by the Ministry of Culture Czech Republic and Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University. I am thrilled to be part of this interesting conference and present my work alongside many incredible researchers!

OCTOBER 2022 
TEA TALK AT MZ* BALTAZAR'S LAB
I had the chance to talk about my work together with amazing Valerie Habsburg at Mz* Baltazar's Lab in the framework of Violetta Leitner's solo show "Delphi 2.0 : Phyto-Pythia". We talked about our practices, future hopes and fears, collective working modes and tried to read tea leaves. It was a blast!

JULY 2022 
I am so thrilled to have been invited to a residency with our DTAFA group to Novi Sad in the framework of the European Capital of Culture. From 20.07 till 31.07, we explored our project "How to become an island?" further together with festival visitors and casual beach goers of Novi Sad Strand.

JULY 2022 
DUCK ENCOUNTERS + READING GROUP: DUCK AND GOOSE POLITICS 
At the end of the School for MultiSpecies Knowledges, I showed in an installation "Duck Encounters" how I spent my time in Amstelpark with a specific Duck. Additionally, Angela Serino and I organised a reading group, which started with my explorations with the Duck and was followed by a collective reading of excerpts from Eva Meijer’s book “When Animals Speak”(2019). 
Besides the human participants, the Duck was present too. (Lucky us!)
MAY - JULY 2022 
GROUP RESIDENCY: SCHOOL FOR MULTISPECIES KNOWLEDGES
From 14.05 till 03.07, I had the opportunity to participate in this amazing group residency in Amstelpark in Amsterdam. The program was organised by zone2source and Open Set and I got the chance to meet and interact with incredible earthlings both human and nonhuman! 
APRIL 2022 
WORKSHOP BY DTAFA AT ART & SCIENCE CLASS OF ANGEWANDTE
We, as DTAFA, together with Valerie Deifel organised a workshop at the Art & Science Class. The workshop "Liquid Tools for River Fiction" started with a visit to the Sterlet hatchery station with a talk by Christina Gruber at Donauinsel and a guided visit to Nationalpark Donau Auen, including a boat tour along the Altarm. The second day and the third day were dedicated to prototyping ‘tools for river fiction’.

LECTURE BY DTAFA AT ART & SCIENCE CLASS OF ANGEWANDTE
Danube Transformation Agency for Agency (this is Solmaz Farhang, Alexandra Fruhstorfer, Lena Violetta Leitner, Andrea Palašti and me - in short, DTAFA) held an online lecture on our artistic investigation about, around and along the Danube.

Our virtual exhibition, that was created for Angewandte Innovation Lab in 2020, is now on display in Novi Sad at SULUV Gallery from 25.10.2021 till 05.11.2021.

ALIENEXPRESS OPENS AT FABRIKRAUM
Our virtual web shop Alienexpress opens it's first real pop-up shop at Fabrikraum between 10.09.2021 - 19.09.2021. Our Alien group (Solmaz Farhang, Alexandra FruhstorferLena Violetta Leitner and Andrea Palašti!) came together in Vienna for the grand opening!

INTERSPECIES FUTURES [ I F ] REVIEW ON THE BROOKLYN RAIL
The Brooklyn Rail published a review about the INTERSPECIES FUTURES [ I F ] show, curated by Oscar Salguero. As part of the show, "Dodo in the Room" was also mentioned in the review. I am so incredibly happy to read the nice brief review of my project and that it was reviewed with referencing to Donna Haraway! 😍
